The film “Mosquitoes” precisely because of its desire to represent a snapshot of the 1990s in a middle-class town in northern Italy, was shot in several cities that lent their own unique characteristics, enriching the story without imposing any specific geographical constraints. This approach allowed the film to be realistic, but also to take on a universal character, thus offering the viewer a very specific socio-cultural slice of life.

The Veneto Region, through funds allocated for interventions in support of cultural, creative, and audiovisual businesses – Sub C “Audiovisual production” 2023, PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027 with decree protocol 255394 of September 27, 2023, approved the subsidization of the project with a fund of €234,702.40.
