The film “Mosquitoes” precisely because of its desire to represent a snapshot of the 1990s in a middle-class town in northern Italy, was shot in several cities that lent their own unique characteristics, enriching the story without imposing any specific geographical constraints. This approach allowed the film to be realistic, but also to take on a universal character, thus offering the viewer a very specific socio-cultural slice of life.
The project was realized with the contribution of the Fund for the Development of Investments in Cinema and Audiovisual Media, with a grant of €250,000.00, confirmed by Decree 3931 of December 6, 2022.
